The Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Personal Reserve is a special edition of Fuente’s flagship Don Carlos line, named for patriarch Carlos Fuente Sr.

It sets a silky African Cameroon wrapper over aged Dominican binder and filler, at a medium to full body. Expect a refined profile of cedar, roasted nuts, leather, black pepper, and a sweet spice. At 5 by 50, the robusto is balanced and elegant.

Don Carlos is among the most decorated lines Fuente makes, and the Personal Reserve is a richer expression of it. A polished, Cameroon-wrapped Dominican.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or cognac.
