La Galera comes from Jochy Blanco’s Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, and the Imperial Jade is its Cameroon-wrapped line. The La Galera Imperial Jade Toro sets an African Cameroon wrapper over Dominican binder and filler grown on the family’s farms, at a medium body.

The flavor usually leans toward cedar, nuts, coffee, and a light sweet spice from the Cameroon leaf. At 6 by 52, the toro gives an even, steady burn.
