From Byron, United Cigars’ luxury revival, the Byron Grand Poemes 19th is an Ecuadorian-wrapped gordo, handmade in Costa Rica.

It blends an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Peruvian binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican filler at a medium to full body, leading with cedar, coffee, black pepper, and a sweet, earthy core. At 6 by 56, it burns cool and even.

Medium to full and unhurried, it leans toward the evening. A polished, premium cigar.

Pairs well with cognac, espresso, or port.
