Description

The Cohiba Blue Robusto is a Honduran-wrapped robusto from the non-Cuban Cohiba line, handmade in the Dominican Republic. This is the non-Cuban Cohiba, made by General Cigar, sharing its name with the famous Cuban brand that cannot be sold in the United States.

It blends a Honduran wrapper over a Honduran binder and Dominican, Honduran and Nicaraguan filler at a medium body, leading with cedar, coffee, black pepper, and a sweet, earthy core. At 5 1/2 by 50, it burns cool and even.

The Dominican Republic grows most of its tobacco in the Cibao valley, and its reputation for smoothness comes from that soil more than from any blending habit.

Sold as a single or a box of 20. Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or amber ale.
