Description

Two unrelated cigars carry the Cohiba name: the Cuban one and this one, which General Cigar owns outside Cuba. Rubicon is the Honduran made line in that family.

An Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covers a US Broadleaf binder and Dominican, Honduran and Nicaraguan filler, medium in body. Expect cedar, roasted nuts, coffee and a light sweetness, smooth rather than peppery. At 6 by 60, the wide ring keeps the smoke cool and lets the filler lead.

Three countries in the filler, Dominican, Honduran and Nicaraguan, is a blender deliberately rounding off the edges: Nicaraguan weight, Dominican smoothness and Honduran cedar in one cigar.

Sold as a single or a box of 20. Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or amber ale.
