Description

Don Carlos is Carlos Fuente Sr.’s own blend, the one he actually smoked. The Edicion de Aniversario was built for his eightieth birthday and rebuilt that blend under a Dominican grown wrapper off the Opus X farm.

That Dominican rosado wrapper covers aged Dominican binder and filler, full in body. Expect cedar, espresso, dark chocolate and leather, with dried fruit lingering late. At 5 1/4 by 50, the robusto keeps everything concentrated and gets there faster.

An all Dominican puro at full strength, which is still rare ground outside the Fuente farm.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or cognac.
