This is an Aganorsa Leaf production out of Estelí, Nicaragua, using a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over Nicaraguan Aganorsa binder and long-filler. The Aganorsa farms are recognized for Cuban-seed tobacco grown with Cuban methods, which has long been the foundation of the JFR brand. La Montana runs 7 by 70 at medium-to-full body.

The profile usually opens with cocoa, coffee, and dark earth, then moves into leather and black pepper through the middle before finishing on cedar and a touch of natural sweetness from the wrapper.
