Description

La Flor Dominicana first rolled the Double Press in 2009. It is a box-pressed toro, 6 by 52, with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Dominican binder and filler, made by Litto Gómez’s team in Tamboril, Dominican Republic.

Expect cedar and black pepper off the light, then coffee through the middle with a bright note of citrus. It is full in strength, and the square press keeps the burn slow and even for about 75 minutes.

It comes 20 to a box, and a single is an easy first taste.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or aged rum.
