Description

Suave is the line that started La Flor Dominicana. Litto and Ines Gómez opened the company in 1994 with a mild Dominican blend, and in 2025 they reblended it from the ground up in a natural and a Grand Maduro version.

The Grand Maduro No. 6 is a 5 3/4 by 54 box-pressed torpedo. It sets a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder, with Dominican filler, at a medium body. Cigar Insider rated it 92 points in November 2025. Their tasters noted earth and pepper first, then anise, herbs, leather, roasted coffee and nuts, with spice on the finish.

Made at La Flor Dominicana’s factory in Tamboril, in the Dominican Republic. A smooth, dark torpedo from a house better known for power.

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or porter.
