The name translates to french fries, Drew Estate’s nod to the fact that the filler is built from the trimmings left behind when the larger H99 sizes are rolled. Nothing else is downgraded: it wears the same Connecticut Corojo wrapper, a hardier leaf hybridized with Habano, over the Mexican San Andres binder used across the line, with Honduran, Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania tobacco in the bunch. The result is the H99 profile in miniature, espresso and cocoa up front with cedar, baking spice, and a sweet, earthy finish, sitting at a medium to full body.
