Nub Cameroon 460 4″ x 60

Handmade in Nicaragua, the Nub Cameroon 460 is a Cameroon-wrapped gordo from Nub by Oliva.

It blends an African Cameroon wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a medium body, leading with cedar, roasted nuts, sweet baking spice, and a touch of black pepper. At 4 by 60, it burns slow and cool, closer to an hour and a half than an hour.

Cameroon has a distinctive tooth, tiny bumps across the surface, and a colour somewhere between a Connecticut and a Habano. The taste is the giveaway: toast, nuts and a sweetness that is not sugar.

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or amber ale.
