Nub started from a simple idea: most cigars hit their sweet spot an inch or two in, so start there. Nuance is the gentler side of it, and the roast names mark how dark each blend runs.

A Sumatra wrapper covers Nicaraguan binder and filler, medium in body. Expect earth, cedar, coffee and a faint sweetness. At 3 3/4 by 54, it burns cool and even.

Sumatra is the wrapper for a cigar that needs to look darker than a Connecticut without smoking like a maduro. It comes out oily and brown, then tastes of earth, cedar and a mild sweetness.
