Oliva Connecticut Reserve Toro is a Nicaraguan cigar in Oliva’s Connecticut line, made with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Reporting on the blend notes that Oliva built this series without ligero, using viso and seco tobaccos instead, which keeps the body on the milder side while still giving it enough structure to stay interesting over a longer smoke.

At 6 x 50, the Toro offers more time for the cream, cedar, and toasted notes to develop before the profile moves toward coffee, nuts, and a measured touch of spice. It remains a straightforward Connecticut-style cigar, but this size gives it a slower pace and a bit more progression than the shorter options in the same line.
