Oliva Serie V Torpedo is one of the most recognized vitolas in the line, putting the blend’s fuller Nicaraguan character into a tapered format. Serie V is built with Nicaraguan long-fillers, specially fermented Jalapa Valley ligero, a Nicaraguan binder, and an Ecuadorian wrapper, with Oliva describing the profile around coffee, dark chocolate, and balanced spice.

At 6 x 56, the torpedo shape gives the cigar a more focused opening before it opens into the wider body of the smoke. The flavor usually starts with coffee, dark chocolate, earth, and pepper, then tends to move toward cedar, deeper tobacco sweetness, and steady spice through the middle and final third. Ranked No. 4 in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2007.

This vitola keeps the Serie V blend firm and concentrated without feeling rushed. The tapered head makes the first part of the cigar feel a little tighter and more direct than the round sizes, while the 56 ring gauge still gives the fuller blend enough room to develop.
