Description

Handmade in Nicaragua, the Perla del Mar Corojo Toro is a Corojo-wrapped toro from Perla del Mar.

It blends a Honduran Corojo wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a medium body, leading with leather, red pepper, dry cedar, and a sweet, earthy core. At 6 1/4 by 54, it burns cool and even.

Corojo 99 is the modern version of the leaf, bred to shrug off the diseases that made the original such a headache to farm, and it kept the pepper intact.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
