The Double Toro is the thick 60-ring size in Perla del Mar’s dark Maduro. The Perla del Mar Maduro Double Toro is made by J.C. Newman in Estelí, with a Connecticut broadleaf maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, box-pressed at a medium to full body.

The wide ring keeps the chocolate-and-coffee profile cool and steady, with a soft earthy sweetness. At 6 by 60, it is built for a long, slow sit.

The medium to full body and big format lean toward a longer, later smoke. It comes as singles or boxes of 25, so one is an easy way in. A big-ring, dark Nicaraguan maduro.
