Guajiro keeps Plasencia’s Alma del Campo, the soul of the field line, in a short, thick robusto. The Plasencia Alma del Campo Guajiro is a Nicaraguan puro under an oily Nicaraguan Habano wrapper from the family’s farms, at a medium body.

The flavor usually moves toward coffee, nuts, and cedar, with a natural sweetness and light spice. At 5 1/2 by 54, the robusto gordo gives a cool, even burn.

The medium body works across the day. It is sold as singles or boxes of 10, so a single is a low-commitment start. A compact, estate-grown Nicaraguan puro.

    Compared to the Claro and the Cielo, the Campo provides similar nutty, cedar, coffee notes but I found it excels in the nutty/coffee notes compared to its counter parts. This is a returning staple in my collection and each time is consistent with the notes as well as construction. From beginning to end its worth every penny with how it performs. Highly recommend this for cigar enjoyers who prefer nutty/coffee notes in their cigars with a mellow and tasteful finish.
