Description

In a compact robusto, Candente concentrates Plasencia’s Alma del Fuego, the soul of fire line. The Plasencia Alma del Fuego Candente is a Nicaraguan puro, a Jalapa wrapper over Ometepe and Jalapa tobacco aged seven years, box-pressed at a medium to full body.

The flavor usually leans toward espresso, nuts, oak, and a peppery warmth, with a citrus edge early on. At 5 by 50, the robusto holds that character in a shorter, even burn.

The medium to full body suits later in the day or after a meal. It comes as singles or boxes of 10, so a single is a low-commitment start. A compact, fuller Nicaraguan puro.

Pairs well with espresso, bourbon, or a porter.
