Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No.142 David 5″ x 54

The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No.142 David is a Connecticut-wrapped perfecto from Foundation Cigar Co., handmade in Nicaragua. The Havana Seed CT No. 142 is a separate Tabernacle blend. The Tabernacle comes from Foundation’s Nicholas Melillo, who spent more than a decade sourcing tobacco for Drew Estate before founding his own company.

It blends a Connecticut Havana Seed wrapper over a Mexican San Andres binder with Nicaraguan and Honduran filler at a medium to full body, leading with cream, cedar, blanched almond, and a gentle white-pepper snap. At 5 by 54, it burns cool and even.

The Connecticut River Valley still grows the original, but most Connecticut wrappers on the market now are Ecuadorian, raised from the same seed at a fraction of the cost.

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or amber ale.
