Foundation’s Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No.142 is built around a Connecticut-grown Havana-seed leaf, and the Goliath is its thick 58-ring size. The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No.142 Goliath sets that wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder and Nicaraguan filler, at a medium to full body.

The leaf is fermented for about three years, which deepens the profile toward cedar, coffee, earth, and a sweet, peppery edge. At 5 by 58, the gordo gives a slow, even burn.

The medium to full body suits later in the day. It is sold as singles or boxes of 25, so one is an easy first taste. A rich, Havana-seed Foundation smoke.

    This cigar lasts surprisingly longer than I expected and enjoyed every minute of it! Super tasty Tabernacle tobacco, notes of cocoa and rich leathery tobacco flavor. Even burn the entire way through with a oily finish. Compared to the regular Tabernacle, the Havana Seed has a bit more pepper to it but it compliments the smoke and mellows out in the final third of the cigar.
