The Xi3 Phantom is the darker side of the Xi3. Blacked out stainless steel blades sit against inlaid handles in Carbon Fiber, Redwood or Tamarind, on the full stainless steel body of the Xi3.
The blades are 440C stainless steel hardened to Rockwell HRC 57. They close from both sides at once in XIKAR’s patented double guillotine, so the cap is sliced cleanly and the wrapper stays intact. The steel body adds weight and balance, which helps keep the cut level.
It cuts a 54 ring gauge cigar clean through, and up to a 60 depending on how much cap you take.
XIKAR backs it with its limited lifetime warranty.
Cut just above the cap line with one firm squeeze. Hesitating halfway is what tears a wrapper.
