Description

From Steve Saka’s Dunbarton (Sobremesa), the Sobremesa Solita Churchill en Cedros is a Habano-wrapped churchill, handmade in Nicaragua. Sobremesa comes from Steve Saka’s Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust; the name is the Spanish term for lingering at the table after a meal.

It blends an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Mexican San Andres Negro binder with Nicaraguan and Pennsylvanian filler at a medium body, leading with cedar, sweet red pepper, dried fruit, and a touch of leather.

Habano is the most planted premium wrapper outside Cuba, less out of fashion than reliability. It takes to Nicaraguan and Ecuadorian ground without losing the Cuban character.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
