Description

Handmade in the Dominican Republic, the EP Carrillo Pledge Prequel is a Connecticut-wrapped robusto from Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s E.P. Carrillo. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo built the brand after decades shaping modern premium cigars.

It blends a Connecticut Habano wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan filler at a full body, leading with cream, cedar, blanched almond, and a gentle white-pepper snap. At 5 by 50, it burns cool and even.

Habano leaf takes its colour from sun. The higher on the plant it grows the darker and stronger it gets, which is why two cigars both labelled Habano can sit a full step apart in strength.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
