My Father’s No. 6 is a thick, box-pressed gordo built on a reddish Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The My Father No. 6 Toro Gordo is made by the García family in Estelí, Nicaragua, with that Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, at a medium to full body.

The flavor usually leans toward spice, nuts, chocolate, cedar, and a warm leather note. At 6 by 60, the box-pressed gordo gives a long, slow burn.

The medium to full body suits later in the day or a longer sit. It is sold as singles or boxes of 18, so a single is an easy first try. A bold, box-pressed Nicaraguan gordo from My Father.
