Handmade in Nicaragua, the Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No.142 Robusto is a Connecticut-wrapped robusto from Foundation Cigar Co. The Havana Seed CT No. 142 is a separate Tabernacle blend. The Tabernacle comes from Foundation’s Nicholas Melillo, who spent more than a decade sourcing tobacco for Drew Estate before founding his own company.

It blends a Connecticut Havana Seed wrapper over a Mexican San Andres binder with Nicaraguan and Honduran filler at a medium to full body, leading with cream, cedar, blanched almond, and a gentle white-pepper snap. At 5 by 50, it burns cool and even.

A pale wrapper does not make a weak cigar. Shade leaf is mild on its own, but what sits underneath decides how much strength actually comes through.

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or amber ale.
