La Flor Dominicana (LFD) Cabinet Maduro No. 5 6 1/4″ x 52

La Flor Dominicana Cabinet Maduro No. 5 is a fuller Dominican cigar built around estate-grown Dominican binder and filler with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The line is known for a darker, weightier profile than LFD’s softer offerings, and this 6 1/4 x 52 size keeps that blend in a long toro format with enough room for the wrapper to stay involved from start to finish.

The profile usually starts with earth, cedar, coffee, and pepper, then tends to move toward darker wood, leather, and a little natural sweetness as it settles. This size gives the cigar a steadier pace than LFD’s shorter, more forceful vitolas, but it still stays firmly on the rich side.

The No. 5 reads as a classic broadleaf-forward LFD without relying on novelty shape or extra ring gauge. It works best as a fuller, longer-format smoke where depth and density matter more than sharpness alone. Pairing: espresso, bourbon, or dark rum.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or stout.
