Description

From Litto Gómez’s bold Dominican house, the La Flor Dominicana Air Bender Maduro Chisel is the dark wrapper take on the Air Bender line, handmade in the Dominican Republic. La Flor Dominicana, founded by Litto Gómez, grows its own tobacco in the Dominican Republic and is known for some of the boldest cigars made.

It sets an Ecuadorian Habano maduro wrapper over a Dominican binder and filler from LFD’s La Canela farm, at a full body. Cigar Aficionado rated this 6 1/2 by 54 chisel 90 points in 2023. Their tasters found it earthy and peppery, with spice, dark toast, espresso and dried fruit.

LFD made the Air Bender Maduro a regular part of the line in 2015, after an earlier limited release with a Brazilian wrapper. The chisel comes in boxes of 20.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
