Plasencia Triunfal is a Honduran-forward blend from the Plasencia family, one of the largest tobacco growers in Nicaragua and Honduras, with roots going back five generations of farming.

It pairs a Honduran wrapper with a Honduran binder and a filler of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco, at a medium to full body. The flavor leans creamy and toasty up front, with cedar, almond, and a faint sweetness that shifts toward cocoa and earth as it develops. At 6 1/4 by 54, the grand toro is built for a longer, unhurried session.

The Plasencias are growers first. The family farms thousands of acres across Nicaragua and Honduras and supplies leaf to a long list of brands that never mention it on the band, so their own cigars get first pick of what they grow.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
