The God of Fire by Don Carlos Toro is the Fuente-made halo cigar for Prometheus, the smoother of the two God of Fire blends.

An Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper covers aged Dominican binder and filler, medium to full in body. Expect cedar, cocoa, espresso and roasted nuts. At 6 by 50, the toro is the size that shows a blend most plainly, long enough to develop without turning heavy.

Its companion, by Carlito, honours Carlos Fuente Jr. and runs bolder under an African Cameroon wrapper. This one carries his father’s name and plays it quieter.

Pairs well with cognac, espresso, or champagne.
