Description

Papas Fritas means French fries, and the name is a joke about where it comes from: it is made from the cuttings left over when Liga Privada is rolled, the tobacco trimmed off the premium cigars.

A Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper covers Brazilian Mata Fina binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan filler, full in body. Expect dark chocolate, espresso, earth and a peppery, sweet finish. At 4 1/2 by 44, the slim ring puts more wrapper against the filler, so the wrapper does more of the talking.

Liga Privada means private blend. It began as Steve Saka’s own blend at Drew Estate, never meant for sale, and Papas Fritas is the cheapest way to taste that tobacco, in a size you can finish on a short break.
