Arturo Fuente Opus X Perfecxion No. 5 is a Dominican puro from the core OpusX line, built around Fuente’s shade-grown Dominican wrapper tobacco from Chateau de la Fuente. At 4 7/8 x 40, it is one of the slimmer formats in the line, and Fuente packs it in boxes of 42.

The flavor tends to start with pepper, cedar, and toasted wood, then move into earth, spice, and a dry sweetness that stays firm through the finish. Because the ring gauge is narrow, the wrapper has more influence here than it does in the thicker Opus sizes, so the cigar often feels sharper and more concentrated from the outset. Ranked No. 13 in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2004, this is a shorter Opus X with a focused, wrapper-driven profile.
