No. 3 narrows the Don Carlos blend into a corona format that puts more emphasis on wrapper character from the start. 

Arturo Fuente Don Carlos No. 3 is a Dominican corona from the Don Carlos line, made with Dominican tobacco under a Cameroon wrapper and blended to reflect Carlos Fuente Sr.’s taste. The slimmer ring gauge makes it one of the more focused regular-production Don Carlos vitolas. 

The profile often leans toward wood, honey, nuts, and a light citrus edge, with a cleaner, more linear progression than the thicker sizes in the range. At 5 1/2 x 44, it keeps the smoke centered and steady without the broader middle that shows up in the Belicoso or No. 2. Rated 93 by Cigar Aficionado in 2024. 

Pair with black coffee, aged rum, or sparkling water.
