The Robusto keeps Don Carlos direct and compact without losing the line’s signature Cameroon character. 

Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Robusto is a Dominican robusto from the Don Carlos line, blended as a tribute to Carlos Fuente Sr. It uses a Cameroon wrapper over Dominican binder and filler, with older Fuente tobaccos forming part of the blend. 

This size tends to show wood, nuts, tea, orange peel, and light spice earlier than the larger Don Carlos formats. At 5 x 50, it feels more compact and more immediate than the No. 2, with less ramp-up and a steadier middle. Rated 94 by Cigar Aficionado in 2023.
