The Robusto gives Oro Oscuro a broader format without losing the darker, more forceful OpusX character.

Arturo Fuente Opus X OXO Oro Oscuro Robusto is part of Fuente’s Oro Oscuro lineup, and Fuente lists it at 5 1/4 x 50 with 29 cigars per box. In the current line, this vitola also appears in limited tin packaging, but the regular box format remains part of the official Oro Oscuro range.

The flavor tends to move through cedar, earth, pepper, and a darker sweetness, with the 50 ring gauge giving the cigar a rounder feel than the slimmer PerfecXion No. 4. It stays in the fuller side of the OpusX family, but the Robusto format usually spreads the blend out more evenly and makes the middle portion feel less pointed than the narrower sizes.

Pair with black coffee, aged rum, or sparkling water.
