La Flor Dominicana 30th Anniversary 6″1/2 * 58

La Flor Dominicana 30th Anniversary was released to mark the company’s 30-year milestone and uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over an aged binder from Cotuí and fillers from LFD’s La Canela farm in the Dominican Republic. It comes in a 6 1/2 x 58 box-pressed Chisel format, which gives it the line’s familiar wedge-shaped head and a more concentrated opening.

The blend leans richer than mild, but Cigar Aficionado lists it at medium strength and ranked it No. 13 in the Top 25 Cigars of 2025 with a 95 rating. The flavor usually opens on dark wood, earth, spice, and coffee, then moves toward deeper sweetness and a heavier finish as it develops.

This is a commemorative cigar, but the main story is still the blend and shape. The larger box-pressed Chisel makes it feel deliberate and dense, with more depth than speed. Pairing: espresso, bourbon, or dark rum.
