A darker, fuller counterpart to the original Winston Churchill blend, the Late Hour was developed around the image of Sir Winston working into the night.

The line was released in 2017 as a richer expression of the Davidoff Winston Churchill family, sitting within the Davidoff Black Label collection. The Toro pairs an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with dual binders from Ecuador and Mexico, over a long-filler of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos that includes leaf finished in single malt Scotch whisky casks. Production runs at Cigars Davidoff in the Dominican Republic. The Toro measures 6 by 54 at medium-to-full body, packaged in boxes of 20.

The flavor tends to lean toward cedar and roasted coffee up front, with leather, dark chocolate, and a subtle peat-influenced sweetness from the whisky-cask aging running through the middle before a finish carrying spice and dried fruit. The wider gauge gives the cask-aged filler room to read clearly without overshadowing the Habano wrapper, with the smoke holding an oily, slightly creamy texture across the burn. The format suits a longer evening session.
