From Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s E.P. Carrillo, the EP Carrillo Encore Celestial is a Habano-wrapped toro, handmade in the Dominican Republic. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo built the brand after decades shaping modern premium cigars.

It blends a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a medium to full body, leading with cedar, black pepper, espresso, and a sweet, leathery spice. At 6 1/8 by 50, it burns cool and even.

Habano seed is Cuban tobacco grown somewhere other than Cuba, and it is the backbone of most Nicaraguan blends. The pepper and the sweetness both trace back to that seed.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or cognac.
