Description

Handmade in Nicaragua, the Ozgener Bosphorus B55 is a Sumatra-wrapped robusto from Ozgener Bosphorus. Ozgener Family Cigars was founded by Tim Ozgener, whose father Cano founded CAO Cigars.

It blends an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over an Ecuadorian Connecticut and Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler at a medium to full body, leading with earth, cedar, coffee, and a peppery, faintly sweet finish. At 5 1/2 by 55, it burns cool and even.

Sumatra is the wrapper for a cigar that needs to look darker than a Connecticut without smoking like a maduro. It comes out oily and brown, then tastes of earth, cedar and a mild sweetness.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
