Description

The EP Carrillo Encore Valientes is a Habano-wrapped toro from Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s E.P. Carrillo, handmade in the Dominican Republic. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo built the brand after decades shaping modern premium cigars.

It blends a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a medium to full body, leading with cedar, black pepper, espresso, and a sweet, leathery spice. At 6 1/8 by 52, it burns cool and even.

Habano 2000 is a hybrid Cuba bred in the 1990s to resist blue mould. The Habano on most bands outside Cuba is the older seed line, raised from stock that left the island decades earlier.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or cognac.
