Description

From Ozgener Bosphorus, the Ozgener Bosphorus B54 is a Sumatra-wrapped toro, handmade in the Dominican Republic. Ozgener Family Cigars was founded by Tim Ozgener, whose father Cano founded CAO Cigars.

It blends an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over an Ecuadorian Connecticut and Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler at a medium to full body, leading with earth, cedar, coffee, and a peppery, faintly sweet finish. At 6 1/2 by 54, it burns cool and even.

Most Sumatra seed now grows in Ecuador rather than Indonesia, where the steady cloud cover suits it. In weight it sits between a Connecticut and a Habano, which makes it an easy wrapper to build a mid-strength cigar around.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
