The Foundation Charter Oak Habano Grande is a Habano-wrapped gordo from Nicholas Melillo’s Foundation Cigar Co., handmade in Nicaragua. Nicholas Melillo spent years sourcing Nicaraguan leaf before founding the brand.

It blends an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a medium body, leading with cedar, black pepper, espresso, and a sweet, leathery spice. At 6 by 60, the thick ring keeps the smoke cool and rounded over a long burn.

Medium and balanced, it works at almost any hour. A characterful Nicaraguan from Foundation.
