Handmade in Nicaragua, the Foundation Charter Oak Habano Toro is a Habano-wrapped toro from Nicholas Melillo’s Foundation Cigar Co. Nicholas Melillo spent years sourcing Nicaraguan leaf before founding the brand. Foundation’s Nicholas Melillo spent more than a decade sourcing tobacco for Drew Estate before founding his own Nicaraguan company.

It blends an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a medium body, leading with cedar, black pepper, espresso, and a sweet, leathery spice. At 6 by 52, it burns cool and even.
