Slimmer than the Monarchy and slightly longer than the Coronation, the Viceroy lands between the two as a corona-extra format in the reblended La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse line.

The cigar carries a Mexican San Andrés Oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long-filler grown on Garcia family farms in Estelí, Jalapa, and Namanji. All leaves are triple-fermented, with the filler rolled entubado and finished with a Cuban-style triple cap at My Father Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua. The Viceroy measures 6 1/8 by 52 in a soft box-press, ships in boxes of 24, and sits at the full end of the body scale.

Expect dark chocolate, espresso, and dried fig up front, with leather, earth, and baking spice through the middle before a finish carrying black pepper and a saline edge. Rated 92 by Cigar Aficionado in 2024. The 52 ring gauge keeps the wrapper and filler in tight balance compared to the wider vitolas in the line, with the Oscuro’s spice side reading more present than in the toro or churchill formats. The format runs slightly past the standard hour mark.
