Description

Litto and Ines Gómez started making cigars in 1994, and La Flor Dominicana marked 20 years with this blend. The company set tobacco aside for years to build it, then released it in 2014. Mexican San Andrés wraps Dominican binder and filler from LFD’s own La Canela farm.

The Mambo is the long one at 7 by 54. It opens on earth and a little pepper, picks up cedar and leather as the strength builds through the middle, and finishes with chocolate, raisin and a touch of baking spice. Medium to full, it runs well over two hours. Cigar Aficionado rated it 92 points and named it No. 23 on its Top 25 cigars of 2020.

San Andrés leaf grows in the San Andrés Valley of Veracruz, Mexico. Pairs well with bourbon, port or espresso.
