La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Maduro Digger is built around scale and strength from the start. This La Flor Dominicana release is handmade in the Dominican Republic as part of the Double Ligero line, using a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper over Dominican binder and filler, and the line is known for using extra ligero leaf in the blend; the Digger is a regular-production cigar sold in boxes of 20.

In this version, the cigar comes in an 8 1/2 x 60 format, making it one of the largest vitolas in the Double Ligero range rather than a separate blend. The flavor usually starts on pepper, earth, and wood, then tends to move toward coffee, dark cocoa, and a heavier maduro finish, with the broadleaf wrapper adding darker weight to the profile.

The Digger began as a special longer take on the DL-700 and later moved into regular production, which explains why the size is the defining detail here as much as the blend itself. This is a long-session cigar with a full profile and a very large ring gauge, so the fit is more about duration and format than about a change in blend identity.
