La Flor Dominicana Ligero Cabinet Oscuro L-400 5 3/4″ x 54

The L-400 is the middle size of La Flor Dominicana’s Ligero Cabinet Oscuro line, a 5 3/4 by 54 toro between the L-300 and the L-500 in ring size. It carries the line’s Ecuadorian Sumatra oscuro wrapper over Dominican binder and filler, from Litto Gómez’s own farm.

The flavor usually leans toward black pepper and cedar first, then earth and dark cocoa, with leather on the finish. It is full in strength and runs about 70 minutes.

It is sold as singles or boxes of 24, so a single is an easy first taste.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or stout.
