Description

A dark-sweet broadleaf character leads, then wood and pepper take a firmer role as it goes. My Father Blue Toro is a box-pressed 6 x 54 toro handcrafted in Honduras. It uses a Connecticut Broadleaf Rosado wrapper over a Honduran binder with Honduran Corojo and Criollo fillers grown on the Garcia family’s Finca La Opulencia.

Blended by Don Pepin Garcia and Jaime Garcia, Blue is the first My Father line produced at the brand’s Honduran operation and it is listed as medium to full. The profile usually starts with cocoa and toasted cedar, moves toward coffee and earth through the middle, then finishes drier with a brighter spice edge.

This size fits smokers who want a longer format without stepping up to a 60-ring cigar. It lines up well after a meal when fuller flavor makes sense, and it also works as an early-evening pick where a steady pace keeps the spice from getting sharp. Singles are useful for dialing in the toro format, then boxes make sense once it settles into the rotation.

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or porter.
