The Casa 1910 Revolutionary Edition Cuchillo Parado is a San Andrés-wrapped robusto from Casa 1910, a Mexican boutique, handmade in Mexico. Casa 1910 is one of the few premium cigars rolled in Mexico.

It blends a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Mexican binder and Mexican and Nicaraguan filler at a medium body, leading with cocoa, espresso, black pepper, and a sweet, almost-syrupy dark earth. At 5 by 50, it burns cool and even.

For years Mexican leaf had a reputation for being rough, mostly because it was used raw as cheap binder. Fermented properly for wrapper it became the maduro standard, and San Andres now dresses cigars at every price.

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or mezcal.
