Description

Liga No. 4 is the fuller blend in the Aniversario 1965 line, the series Nat Cicco named for the year it started.

An oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covers aged Nicaraguan binder and filler, medium to full. Expect cedar, black pepper, espresso and a sweet, leathery spice. At 6 by 52, the toro is the size that shows a blend most plainly, long enough to move through a second and third act without turning heavy.

Ecuadorian Habano and Nicaraguan Habano are the same Cuban seed in different dirt, and they do not smoke alike. Ecuador’s steady cloud cover grows a smoother, more even leaf, while Nicaraguan sun puts more pepper into it.
