New World by AJ Fernandez Connecticut Belicoso 6″ x 54

The New World Connecticut Belicoso is the mild, golden-wrapped side of AJ Fernandez’s New World line, made at the family’s Tabacalera Fernández in Estelí, Nicaragua.

It sets an USA Connecticut Shade wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, at a mild to medium body. Expect a smooth, creamy profile of cedar, almond, white pepper, and a light, sweet hay. At 6 by 54, the belicoso burns cool and the tapered head focuses the early draws.

The gentle strength makes it an easy morning or daytime smoke, with more depth than most mild cigars at the price. A creamy, approachable Connecticut.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or champagne.
